Oral Implants: Clinical Guidelines, Trends in Liability and Risk Management Part I
This webinar is presented by Dentist’s Advantage, NSDP and CNA.
Overview
The role of oral implants in tooth replacement therapy provides significant improvements in oral function, speech and quality of life. The intervention though does have risks including surgical, prosthetic and patient outcome risks that need to be anticipated in the diagnostic and care planning phase of care. Diagnostics needs to comprehensively consider patient, anatomic and physiologic/biological factors and these issues need to be clearly presented in a conversation around informed consent.
