Exciting changes are underway at Dentist's Advantage! A new underwriting carrier, new coverage enhancements,
new risk management resources, and new association partnerships provide added benefits to our clients and
further strengthen the Dentist's Advantage Program.
New Underwriting Carrier
Dentist's Advantage has selected a new insurer, National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA, to
underwrite the Dentist's Advantage program. National Union has experience in providing professional
liability (malpractice) insurance and has specific expertise in Dental malpractice.
'Doing the right thing for our clients and exceeding client expectations' has always been, and will continue to
be, the most important part of our mission. And with our new underwriting carrier, we are able to ensure our
coverage and product is contemporary to the changing needs of dentists now and into the future.
Coverage Enhancements
With our new underwriting carrier we are delivering all of the same flexibility that you have come to rely on
and more, ensuring that your coverage stays contemporary with the needs of today's dentists:
- Risk management credit has been increased to 10%! Providing you with additional tools to help manage
the cost of coverage!
- The Specialty Liability Package endorsement has been expanded to now include a sub-limit for billing
errors and omissions exposures, recognizing this emerging risk to dental practices!
- First Aid limits have been increased to $10,000 per person!

competitive!
New Risk Management Innovations
Dentist's Advantage has aligned with the National Society of Dental Practitioners (NSDP)! The mission of the
NSDP is to provide dentists with guidance, information and resources to reduce their risk exposure. Working in
an advisory capacity for the NSDP is a team of dentist attorneys, dentist risk managers, and practicing
dentists who provide their counsel and insight to both clients as well as Dentist's Advantage. The NSDP
provides risk management expertise - peer to peer to clients through:
- 24 hour risk management hotline - dentist's can call anytime they have a question or concern related to
their practice.
- Quarterly risk management newsletters - addressing current risk management issues and providing
recommendations on reducing these exposures.
- Electronic access to dozens of necessary forms - aiding dentists in reducing risk exposures in their
practice.
Best of all, every Dentist's Advantage client automatically becomes a member of the NSDP!

New Association Partners
Dentist's Advantage is proud to announce two new association partners: The National Dental Association and the
Hispanic Dental Association. The National Dental Association (NDA) represents the concerns of over 10,000
African American and minority dentists, as well as dental students, hygienists, assistants, and auxiliaries
across the country. The Hispanic Dental Association (HDA), established in 1990, includes Hispanic and
non-Hispanics professionals; dentists and dental hygienists, dental assistants, dental technologists,
academics and practicing professionals, students, and researchers.
It is both an honor and testament to the Dentist's Advantage program to be partnered with several national,
state, and regional dental associations. In addition to NDA and HDA, Dentist's Advantage supports and is
supported by the Academy of General Dentistry, the National Society of Dental Practitioners, and the Korean
